I have made two shopping trips to Forever 21 (it's an hour away) in the last few months. One after Christmas and one after my birthday. Meaning I went in January and then again in March. I had to laugh at the color scheme of each of my purchases. You can definitely feel the moods I was in...

January trip. Neutrals. Romantic and frilly.

March trip. Brights. Spring fever.
I'm a neutral person most of the time, although I do LOVE bright colors...I just don't like them on me. I buys browns and soft colors. I don't even like pink on me.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I think it's good to have a mix of neutrals and brights in your closet! My F21 is only 15 minutes away which is very dangerous. I think now 90% of my wardrobe is from there!

I saw that purple polka dot shirt. I wish I got it! So cuteee!
ReplyDeleteOMG what great pieces. I love the comparison.
ReplyDeleteI like the pieces on the top photo best. Is the lace piece a skirt or top?
It's a skirt! And definitely one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe, ever. :)
DeleteThis is definitely super funny...they almost look like sets, like you went and shopped for a theme or outfit each time!!! Guess you're a mood stylist, eh?
ReplyDeleteI do the opposite...I go shopping and end up with polar opposite things that make absolutely no sense together. And quite often belong to the wrong season. It's just what catches my silly eye :)

I find that my purchases anywhere--stores, thrifting, etc.--always have a theme to them as far as color is concerned, hehe. I'm having a hard time deciding which set I like better.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the top, probably because I have a hard time wearing light neutrals ;)
ReplyDeleteAhh both sets of purchases looks awesome! I can NEVER find anything in Forever - so I'm giving you a virtual high five :)

Haha, thanks Annie!
DeleteWow I wish we had a Forever 21 in Jackson. I kind of loove the colors from your January trip. I'm scared of wearing too many brights with my tattoos. Don't want to go overboard!
ReplyDeleteYou have the best wardrobe!
